Systems

The Catalyst Conference was incredible. For the most part, when I go to a conference, I try to just take 3 things away that I can use or change. I'm not a note taker. I feel like I'm going to miss something if I look down long enough to write things down... its no wonder I made it through school.

One of the main things that impacted me the most was Andy Stanley's talk at the end about systems. "Everything is a system problem", he said. This is one of those things that I have been thinking for a while, but I just needed someone else to say it so I knew I wasn't crazy. We are working on some system changes now. There are so many things that need a system upgrade or change that we are just working on one thing at a time.

We also got a book called "UnChristian" that I can't wait to start reading.
