Vacation and beyond...

Ok, so we are back from vacation and trying to get into the swing of things. It just seems like the mean ole devil is trying to KICK US IN OUR KIDNEY! Man, we have been attacked... I guess if you want to call it that. I don't want to make light of it, but it actually is amazing how God pulls you through one step at a time and I'm learning more and more about how this relationship works.

I've really been praying lately that God would just give me light for the next step. You know when you look up (like Peter did) and see all that is around you and how far you have to go, its just too much. So I have been praying that God would just help us with the next step. You know what? It works! And as an added bonus, you get to stop worrying.

When you are stuck and feel like everything is just coming down around you, ask God to first have his will totally in your life and then ask him to just give you light to walk the next step. Then obey. Thats the key, if you don't obey, you'll hesistate and be tempted to look up and around at the circumstances. Novel approach, I know. Its not rocket science, but its just one of those areas that we probably already know, we just don't do it.
